Microband granule applicators are well established and form an integral part of many planting and cultivation systems. Whilst mounting systems have been developed for a wide range of implements, in some cases hopper capacities and accessibility can be limited by the physical constraints of the host machines. Designed as an alternative to these implement mounted systems the tractor mounted Microband TMAir improves productivity by using larger hoppers mounted at the front of the tractor for quick and safe filling.
Flexibility and Reliability - The Microband TMAir consists of tried and tested Horstine Farmery components including single or twin hoppers with precision metering units and a high output electrically driven fan. Its design means that it can be used in conjunction with most types of cultivator, planter or seeder for the application of granular chemical, seed or slug pellets. By changing the metering rotors application rates for different products and be quickly and easily changed while a land wheel drive ensures that application rates are kept constant at all times.
Safe and Easy to Operate - Microband TMAir features larger hopper capacities than on an implement mounted Microband which means less filling and less downtime. Mounted on 3 point linkages, the hoppers can be lowered allowing easier filling and avoids the need to handle heavy containers in difficult situations.
