Jumbo Applicator - Advantages.

• Accuracy - the Jumbo Applicator applies granular fertiliser at precise rates.
• Uniform application - the Jumbo Applicator ground speed related drive decreases the chances of over and under application on uneven terrain. A consistent application of fertilizer is maintained throughout the field and gives significantly more uniform application than by gravity flow units.
• Ease of calibration – Combination of sprokets and rotor sizes gives a wide range of applicator rates from 60 – 1000kg/ha and this can be doubled by using two outlets per row.
• Operator friendly - Jumbo Fert hoppers are translucent, allowing the operator to constantly monitor granule level from the tractor cab.
• Weatherproof - polyethylene hoppers are seam free with hinged rainproof lids, with rubber hopper seals between the hopper and metering unit.

The Jumbo applicator is a "positive displacement applicator" (PDA), used to accurately apply large or small quantities of granular fertilizer. When turned, the fluted rotors pick up precise quantities of granules and delivers them in a steady accurate stream to the ground through delivery tubes.
